Brief Escapes

Amongst our ever-present quest to succeed and work, work, work, I think it's easy to loose sight of what really matters. To me, what really matters is my family, friends and loved ones (especially my lady). So here's a few images of those fleeting moments between assignments, billing, editing, and filing.

Wow, great shots. I am guessing you used a holga for that first shot. Did you use color filters with flash? Also what kind of film did you use?

How did you do the second shot? Its so beautiful. I love the colors and the transitioning. Some kind of double exposure?

Thanks Denise, glad you like the images.

The first photo is shot with a Holga on 100 speed chrome and it's a double-exposure with a red gelled flash and then a blue gelled flash.

The second is just shot on my Canon 5D with some cool light and a fogged up lens - made for a nice effect though.

Peace,
